HISTORY OF JEHOVAH SHAMMAH MINISTRIES
In the year 2000, God dealt with Evangelist Lawrence to "launch out and evangelize." After much prayer and fasting and confirmation from God, she spoke with her pastor, Elder Bernard Curry, in 2002 and informed him that God was calling her to do an evangelistic work in the town of Kernersville. After obtaining approval and support of her husband, Deacon Tyrone Lawrence, and her pastor, she began to look for a place to disciple new converts.

On November 10, 2002, the doors to this church were opened, and the ministry began. The ministry is not a church as one would suppose, but it is an outreach ministry. The ministry is outside the four walls. God blessed in the first year and many souls were saved and delivered. The ministry continued and began to involve other churches within the community in evangelism. Evangelistic workshops were conducted by Evangelist Lawrence and participants from two community churches attended. A ministry "Christ in Common," was established. The ministry involved door-to-door ministry and street ministry. God really blessed as the saints came together for a common purpose - Christ. Today, there are five churches in Kernersville that work with the ministry in evangelistic efforts.

God has been saving and delivering in the ministry. The ministry includes prison ministry, door-to-door ministry, street ministry, children's ministry, counseling, and worship services. Souls have been saved in the ministry and during worship services. In 2009-our 7th year in ministry-as many as 13 souls were saved during ministry and many souls testified of deliverance. In 2010, as many as 15 souls were added to the kingdom and 2011-2012, several souls confessed salvation and confessed deliverance! The year 2013 has been a year of Jubilee. God has given us victory in spite of many obstacles. He has blessed in prison ministry and in church services. Souls have been blessed and the ministry has experienced growth in attendance. God has opened windows of Heaven and is pouring down blessings upon the ministry. He has blessed us to begin a dramatic praise ministry, a couple’s ministry and committees have been established. God has blessed the ministry with willing laborers! Praise God!

In November 2011 approximately 1.8 acres of land was dedicated for ministry. God has given the vision to build a "Center of Hope" to reach substance users, alcoholics, the homeless, and those who are in a state of hopelessness.

In 2013, God blessed us to obtain property to add two Sunday School rooms, an office, and a fellowship hall with a full kitchen. Praise God for his manifold blessings!

Say not there is 3 months for harvest, look on the fields for they are already white, ready for harvest. "Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." (John 4:35 KJV). Today, 2022, after nineteen years in ministry, Evangelist Lawrence sincerely believes that the time is NOW to win souls to add to the kingdom of God. We will continue to plant seeds and water seeds, and we look for God to give the increase. Our prayer is that God will send more dedicated laborers to the harvest. By the help of God, and under the direction of Evangelist Dr. Wanda K. Lawrence, the ministry will continue to take the gospel to the street so that people will not only receive a "touch" but will have a LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE! The Vision of Jehovah Shammah Ministries is to reach the UNCHURCHED!

Pray for the Ministry as we Launch out into the DEEP!
